Amplifon Milano

Milano

Located in Milan, this Amplifon store was conceived as a contemporary retail environment where precision, accessibility, and customer wellbeing are central to the spatial experience. The lighting design was developed to support these values, creating an atmosphere that is both welcoming and highly functional while reinforcing the brand’s identity through a coherent architectural language.

The project is characterized by a clean and organized interior layout, where lighting contributes to defining spatial hierarchy, improving orientation, and enhancing the quality of interaction between customers and consultants. Within this context, light operates as an integral component of the architecture, supporting both visual comfort and operational efficiency.

A layered lighting strategy was adopted to balance ambient illumination, architectural integration, and task-oriented lighting requirements. Linear lighting elements were incorporated to emphasize the geometry of display areas and service counters, creating visual continuity while reinforcing the clarity and order of the interior composition.

General illumination provides uniform and comfortable lighting conditions throughout the store, ensuring consistent visual performance across retail, consultation, and circulation areas. Particular attention was dedicated to the creation of an environment that feels open, reassuring, and easy to navigate, qualities that are especially important within customer-focused healthcare retail settings.

Focused lighting was strategically integrated within consultation and service areas, where visual accuracy and colour perception are essential. High colour rendering light sources ensure the faithful representation of materials and finishes while supporting comfortable and precise interactions between staff and customers.

The result is a balanced and contemporary environment in which lighting enhances functionality, strengthens brand identity, and contributes to a positive customer experience. Through careful integration, visual comfort, and architectural sensitivity, the project demonstrates how light can become a fundamental element in shaping healthcare retail spaces that are both efficient and welcoming.
